Blue spirulina, also known as phycocyanin, is a kind of blue-green algae, which can grow in salt water and fresh water. It is one of the most nutritious foods on earth. Spirulina's fascinating pigment protein complex helps it obtain energy from light. It is a protein binding pigment with the same properties as protein.

Blue Spirulina absorbs orange and red light and emits fluorescent blue light, which is why it is so beautiful and eye-catching. It is a nutrient fortified powder because it contains protein, thiamine, riboflavin and niacin, as well as iron, manganese, fatty acids and γ- Linolenic acid α- Linolenic acid, linoleic acid, stearic acid, eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), docosahexaenoic acid and other mineral acids (DHA) and arachidonic acid.
